Campeggio Alagna lies between the rivers Sesia and Otro, on Alagna Valsesia ’s southern outskirts, a village well-known for freeriding, climbing, walking and Walser tradition and culture.

The campsite is divided into three areas: one for static caravans i.e. permanent campers one for the cottages and caravans for renting and the other for touring caravans and/or temporary campers with campervans, tents or trailer tents. The campsite is equipped for winter camping. In winter the toilet building is heated. Warm water in wash-basins and shower facilities is provided all over the year, thus allowing dish-and laundry washing. Machine-washing and drying are standard pay services. There is a free ski-deposit with heated shoes dry sistem and a infrared cabin with sauna effect - little fee.

In the main building, near the reception, there is a mini supermarket. Fresh bread is delivered in the morning on request. In same building there is a bar where, especially in the evening, people gather together by the fire-place to have a drink or discuss their last skiing or climbing trips. There is a wide range of books and maps you can hire gratis. And for those who want to watch the most important sports events there is a tv-set. There are special evenings with pizza's from the woodoven.

For smaller children (up to 5 years) there is an enclosed play-ground. The older children have their own play-ground with free table tennis, football, trampolines etc. or they can have fun on the river-side. Between the campsite and the river there is a nice area, still part of the campsite: it is ideal for sun-bathing and it is equipped with a barbecue.
